workbench with threads, hoops and sketches

We started as a two-person bench in 2017, answering local requests for embroidered insignia and bespoke gifts. Over time we refined processes to keep handwork visible while increasing consistency — sampler-driven production, quality checks, and simple packaging that shows the craft. Our local customers value repairable, meaningful pieces made within reach.

Our story

Intro — Ember Stitch began when a maker asked for a repaired family monogram and we realised the demand for careful, local mending and new heirlooms.

Beginning — We honed a simple system: pattern samples, thread sourcing, and an internal registry so every piece can be matched later. That registry grew into a small catalogue of signatures and repeats clients can commission.

Today — We split time between custom commissions, teaching small workshops, and offering limited starter kits. Our priority remains durable craft with transparent sourcing and friendly local service.
